Contact & support
Getting help with HD Video Downloader Pro
Questions about the app are answered by CAPTAINS COLLECTION in writing or by telephone. There is no contact form on this site — nothing to fill in, nothing captured in the browser — so correspondence starts in your own mail client and arrives with the publisher unaltered.
Contact channels
Direct lines to the publisher
Written correspondence is the preferred channel for anything technical, because a fault description survives being read twice. The telephone is kept for short commercial and administrative matters.
contact@captainscollection.shop
One mailbox receives fault reports, privacy requests and business correspondence alike. Attach screenshots here rather than describing them over a call.
Telephone
Answered during working hours in India. A call cannot carry a screenshot or a version number, so a technical matter should follow in writing.
Registered address
Vadodara, Gujarat 390019
India
The registered place of business of CAPTAINS COLLECTION, for postal correspondence and formal notices. Please do not send handsets, memory cards or other hardware to it.
Reporting a fault
Send it once, in full
A message carrying the items listed further down this page can usually be settled without a second round of questions.
Before you write
Not every question lands here
A few kinds of request are decided somewhere other than this mailbox, and sending them to the publisher only adds a step. The pages below name the party that actually holds the record.
Money questions belong to Google Play
HD Video Downloader Pro is free to install and CAPTAINS COLLECTION sells nothing inside it; the app carries advertising instead. Any charge raised against a Google account was taken by Google Play, and Google alone can look it up or reverse it. The publisher has no sight of your purchase history, so a refund cannot be granted from this address.
Copyright complaints, and questions about material a user has saved, should be emailed to CAPTAINS COLLECTION with the procedure set out in the terms and conditions.
Fault reports
Describe a fault so it can be reproduced
Most trouble in a downloader is confined to one handset, one Android release or one source page rather than affecting every install. These five lines turn a report into something that can be tested rather than guessed at.
- Handset and model number
- The name the manufacturer uses for the phone, together with the model code shown under About phone in your settings. Storage rules, notification handling and background limits differ from one manufacturer build to the next.
- Android release
- Android 12, 13, 14 or whichever version your settings report. Successive releases changed how an app may write into shared storage, so the release number alone narrows a saving or playback fault considerably.
- Version of HD Video Downloader Pro
- Printed on the Google Play listing and in the app entry inside your device settings. It tells us whether you hold the current release; the listing was last updated on Aug 31, 2026.
- The route you took
- The screens in order: whether you pasted a copied link or moved through the built-in browser, whether the item was a reel, a status or an ordinary video, and which entry you chose from the quality sheet.
- The outcome, against the one you expected
- Any on-screen message, quoted exactly or photographed, and then the result you were looking for. “The reel is detected, the quality sheet opens and nothing reaches the download list” can be traced; “it does not work” cannot.
Screenshots and short screen recordings are welcome as ordinary attachments to the message. Links to file-sharing services are not opened, so please attach the file itself.
What never belongs in a support message
Never send passwords, one-time codes or card numbers. CAPTAINS COLLECTION has no use for them and will not ask for them. The Play listing declares that the app collects no data, shares none with third parties and encrypts what it does send in transit; the privacy policy sets out what that declaration covers.
Turnaround
What to expect after writing
CAPTAINS COLLECTION is a small publisher rather than a staffed helpdesk. The account below is deliberately modest, because an accurate expectation is worth more than a flattering one.
How correspondence is handled
- Email is read on business days, Monday to Friday.
- Calls are taken during working hours in India; outside them, the mailbox is the dependable route.
- Messages are answered in the order they arrive.
- A report carrying the five items above is often closed in a single reply.
What is not promised
- No reply time counted in hours, and no cover overnight or at weekends.
- National and Gujarat holidays lengthen the wait, as do weekends.
- A fault that has to be reproduced on a borrowed handset takes longer than one visible at once.
- Nothing written on this page is a service-level agreement.
If several business days pass without an answer, send the message again. Mail occasionally fails in transit or settles in a spam folder at one end or the other, and a second copy costs you very little.
One message, in full
Give the handset, the Android release, the app version, the route you took and what appeared on screen. That single message is the shortest distance between the problem and an answer.
