What HD Video Downloader Pro is, what it is not, and where the line runs between a piece of software and the person deciding what to save with it.
An instrument, not a library
HD Video Downloader Pro is general-purpose Android software. It provides a browser for reaching supported websites, a step that detects the media on a page, a set of quality options, a manager that keeps transfers running in the background, and a player for what has already been saved. It nominates no website and it selects no file.
Every download begins with an instruction from the person holding the device: an address opened in the built-in browser, a link copied elsewhere and pasted into the field, a quality chosen from the sheet, a tap on Download. CAPTAINS COLLECTION is not present at that moment and could not be. The files themselves arrive from the third-party address that was opened, not from us.
Download only what you own or have permission to download
That one rule governs every use of HD Video Downloader Pro. Recordings you made yourself, material a rights holder has released for saving, material you have been given clear permission to keep — those are the uses the app is offered for. Anything beyond them is the choice of the person making it, and the consequences follow that person rather than the publisher.
No platform stands behind this app

What the app will not reach
A downloader can work only with what a source is willing to serve. Where a website, an account or a platform has withheld a video, HD Video Downloader Pro does not obtain it, and no setting inside the app alters that.
- Private accounts, protected posts and anything sitting behind a sign-in may not be reachable at all.
- Material a site has restricted stays restricted, even when it is plainly visible on the screen.
- Copyrighted material may simply be unavailable, and where the source withholds it that is the end of the matter.
- Quality choices such as Standard, High and Medium can be offered only where the source itself publishes them.
Each website also carries its own terms of use and content policy. Observing the terms of the sites you visit through the app is your responsibility. The app is not supplied as a way around a restriction that a site or a rights holder has deliberately put in place.
Sources change without warning
What a source makes available is settled entirely by whoever operates it. It can be narrowed, moved, locked or withdrawn at any hour, with no notice to CAPTAINS COLLECTION and no opportunity for us to intervene.
An address that returned a video last month may return nothing today. An upload can be deleted or switched to private by the account that posted it. A service can rebuild the way its pages work. Speed and success depend as well on your connection, your device and the server at the far end.
Nothing on captainscollection.shop is a promise that a particular site, file, format or resolution will keep working, or that a source reachable once will stay reachable.
Where responsibility sits
Copyright in a video belongs to whoever created it or holds the rights to it. Saving a copy moves none of that, and it manufactures no permission that did not already exist.
Re-uploading, redistributing, selling, broadcasting or publicly showing another person’s work without authorisation may be unlawful where you live. Where a download, or any use made of it afterwards, infringes copyright or another right, the user who carried it out answers for it. CAPTAINS COLLECTION does not authorise such use, takes no part in it and accepts no liability arising from it.
A rights holder with a concern about the app is welcome to write to contact@captainscollection.shop. We store and publish no video of our own, so there is no copy here for us to withdraw, but correspondence of that kind is read and answered.
Advertising inside the app
HD Video Downloader Pro installs free and carries advertising, and that advertising is what pays for building and maintaining it. The advertisements are delivered by an advertising network, and everything in them — the offers, the prices, the claims and the pages they open — is set by the advertisers who bought the space.
CAPTAINS COLLECTION does not write those advertisements, does not review them one by one and does not endorse what they promote. An advertisement appearing in the app is not a recommendation from us. Responsibility for its contents, and for any purchase or sign-up that follows from it, lies with the advertiser and the network that served it.
